I started my new web store to show the laces I have to offer.   So far I have three collections including, Pastels, Brights and Dark colors. Each package includes 27 yards of lace in 9 different colors.  Handmade cards and scrapbook pages look so nice when lace is added.  This is a sample of some of the cards I have made using teh scalloped laces I have to offer .. Thank You so much for taking the time to look at my new web store.  You will find it at My Lace

a thought,,

These photos are just a sample of the many many yards of lace. Most of my laces are in one and two inch widths,   I will be letting you know when I am ready to start taking orders. You are all awesome and I look forward to this project.

After reading through many blogs from many scrapbookers and cardmakers I see there is a need for flat lace to embelish their creations. I just so happen to have a jillion yards of flat lace !  I am giving this some thought. I will in the near future be adding some pictures of the lace that I have available.  I use ribbon and lace a lot in my cards as well as my scrabooking projects. It really gives my pages an awesome look.   At one time my hubby and I had a lace and craft supply store but because of health issues we had to give it up. But I couldnt bear to rid myself of it all so it it is all stored here and there in my house with no place to go.  I will be packaging up assorted laces of different colors and sizes.  My prices will be fair.  Keep checking back..

Polymer clay figurines

These are some of my polymer clay figurines, I am just a beginner at this so they are not as good as the non beginners..LOL But it is so much fun

I think Teddy bears are my favorite, I love sculpting them..  All these figurines were done by following step by step directions I found in the many books I have gotten from craft supply stored. Anyone can do them..

3 1/2 X 3 1/2 mini scrap book

This is a mini scrap book that you can carry in your pocket book ready to show off your wonderful children and grandchildren, or maybe your pets. Ideas are endless. This is a photo of the scrapbook closed with a ribbon tied in a bow. The size of it closed is 3 1/2 by 3 1/2.
These next 2 photos are of the mini scrapbook is with the ribbon untied and the pages open. Believe it or now, you can now add up to 24 3x3 photos in this book.
The pages in this mini scrapbook are made from 1 12X12 piece of printed scrapbook paper!

4X4 Exploding Box

This is the exploding box with the top on. This is a Christmas box that I made for my daughter and her family.
As you can see, when you take the lid off, the box explodes with wonderful things to see.
I made this box using 3 12 x 12 cardstock for the pages and assorted used christmas cards and ribbons etc. for embelishments. Of course added pictures of my daughters beautiful family to make it very special.
This is the largest one I have made. They can be made smaller.  This one is 4 inches by 4 inches each way. It is a fun way of sharing your family photos on your desk at work or just the coffee table at home. I just love making these.

Recycled greeting cards

Here is a couple of my recycled cards so you have an idea of what can be done with a once-used card! Hope you can get some ideas of your own from the photos.

These days my passion is recycling used greeting cards.  Think of all the money folks spend on the grocery variety of greeting cards, just to sign their name to them, deliver them to their loved ones and a couple of days later they are in the trash (unless you are like me and don't throw anything away ever).  Well I am having friends save used greeting cards for me and I take them apart using the beautiful images and wording adding my own flair and bling.. Wa-La and new beautiful card to be used over again. Yup.. were saving the beautiful trees.

My Granddaughter Kim

This was a test to see if I had brains enough to insert a photo, and wa-la.. apparently I do because here it is. My granddaughter Kim spend some time with us over the summer and she made a beautiful card to send to her mom back home.. She did an AWESOME Job...

Day one of my crafting blog.

Here is is the beginning of a new year. My New Year resolution was to discontinue my addiction to farmville and those other farming games that became so addictive over the last year. I enjoy 'making stuff' so I am going to spend all that time that I used for farming to instead, 'Making Stuff'. So here is where I will show you what I have made and hopefully I will also be able to give instructions for some of my special things.  At this time I work mostly with paper. So scrap booking and card making are my specialties .  I have worked with polymer clay and have done some Jewelry making. And I love to sew.  So as the mood strikes me.. you may see some of that handiwork as well. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 7!  Of course the grandchildren are my favorites because they are all so smart and beautiful and the perfect children.. It really is true that if I new grandchildren were going to be so wonderful, yes, I would have had them first! Oh yeah I almost forgot.. I also have one wonderful husband
I love to talk, but only about good things. I dont like to talk about things that make me sad. I avoid politics like the plague.  Sometimes I realize we do have to be involved in sad conversations like if someones pet passes away, thats important. But I am sure you know what I mean.
Ok then... Wish me luck cause here I go.
