I love my Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils!

These last couple of weeks I have been learning so much about coloring with copic markers and prismacolor pencils. I am having so much fun! So far I have only about 30 copics but I plan to get them ALL before too long.  (just dont tell my hubby) I color stamped images to use on my greeting cards and scrapbook pages. I think I am doing quite well for an old lady. I must have watched 100 Youtube videos so far to see how others do. I have picked up quite a few tips and tricks from each one I watched which helps me come up with my own style of coloring. I have learned everyone has their own method. Some go from dark to light, some from light to dark and so on. I color every day for many hours each day. So they say practice, practice. practice.. and that is what I am doing. I will post some of my work and maybe you can give me some pointers as how to get even better! Thank you for looking.

Good day to all my wonderful family and friends. Just look at these flowers. They are just so beautiful. I made them using the Spellbinders, Donna Salazar's Rose Creations.  I so love the way they turn out. The red one and the rose colored ones are made using glittery cardstock. The peach and the pink one are made using plain white cardstock and inking the color in. I think I like that look better. I think now that I look at it I may try a very light shade of a color and inking with a color a bit darker. Hope you like them... enjoy and Gods blessings to you.

6 X 6 "Before I was a Mother"

Today I made this scrapbook for my daughter. I found a collection of fun photos of her before she was a Mom and what an awesome finished product it made. I will post pics but it would be hard to describe because I kinda just created it as I was going. I hope you like it as much as I liked making it.

 This is the front cover tied with a length of grosgrain ribbon. The papers I used are just out of my stash. I don't know the maker. I used dememtial stickers by K& Company and also Etcetera Jemz stickers

 This is the first page. I found photos of Jennifer when she was in Grammer school.. the little scroll thing there is made with a Sizzlits die, and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The frames are die cut with my cuttlebug. They are nestabilities dies.

 This page has an extra insert for more photos and a fold out flap.

 This page has 2 fold out flaps, Jennifer made a beautiful  Jeanie for halloween

 This was one Halloween where the employees where Jennifer worked at the time all dressed up like scare crows.. They were just so dang cute. again the flip out pages.

 this page with the girls sexy legs is so cute. The flip out page has a pocket with window to hold a wallet sized photo.

 I see this one is quite blurry but you can maybe see where I added a die cut page as an afterthought so I could add more photos. You can see better in the next photo.

 Here are more photos of my always smiling daughter.. even one where she is getting a belly button ring installed.. I guess that is what you would call it. She didn't like it so she let it grow back the way God made it.

My awesome card..

I made this card using mostly Tim Holtz papers.  I hate to admit it but I forgot the name of the card. I started it using a tutourial I found in Splitcoaststampers but added my own touch. I havent yet put photos or journaling. Not sure what I am going to do with that. I had so much fun doing it and thought I would share.

5 days at sea..

My wonderful daughters are treating me to a Cruise at the end of October! I have never been on a boat or a plane or a train so this is very exciting for me. We will be going to Cozumel and to the Grand Caymans.  I have always been such a scardy cat when it comes to anykind of travel but I am thinking I must be growing out of that! a good thing.  Although I really dont know how I am going to handle being away from my craft room for 5 days.  I guess I will take it one day at a time and enjoy the float!

These are my soooo pretty flowers made with the "Spellbinders Rose Creations ".. They  are so pretty and so easy to put together.  Hope you like them as well.

just me as I look most day sitting in my craft room

Just thought I would throw this in. Me sitting in my craft room as I do most if the time if I am not busy being a gramma or sleeping.. Crafting with paper or polymer clay or fabric is my life.
